Based on the same story of Chang Cheh's 1973-masterpiece Blood Brothers and released in Hong Kong at the end of 2007, The Warlord, a big budget war action drama starring Jet Li (Fearless), Andy Lau (Infernal Affairs) and Takeshi Kaneshiro (Chungking Express), was announced during the Hong Kong Filmart eight months earlier during the production of the movie. I had the chance to meet there the director Peter Ho-sun Chan, near the Media Asia booth, and even if was very busy (He was working on the post-production at that time), he accepted to give me five minutes of his time to talk about The Warlords. It will be released in France on January 28th, 2009, under the title Les Seigneurs de Guerre.
